Women's Forum Australia is pleased to announce that Women and Abortion: An Evidence Based Review will be re-launched in May 2011. The second edition will include: updated national and international research on abortion and its effect on women's health and well-being, personal stories, information on support services and vital information to help women answer the question Pregnant - Now What? so that women can make truly informed decisions.
Women and Abortion: An Evidence Based Review, was first launched in November 2005 at Parliament House, Canberra.
Women and Abortion is not an ideological argument for or against abortion, but offers national and international research on the reasons women seek abortion, and the impact on their physical and psychological health and well-being.
Women’s Forum Australia believes that no woman should ever have to choose between her own welfare and that of her unborn child. Our focus is on social policy initiatives that offer women genuine choices and restore their freedom to be mothers.
