Women's Forum in the Australian Community

Women’s Forum is a distinctive voice for Australian women. We aim to catalyse and represent women and women’s interests in the realms of culture, politics, media and society, as well as challenging anti-woman pressures. We promote life affirming pro-woman policy solutions.

We are unique as an Australian women’s organisation in adopting an evidence-based approach to public policy that critiques the polarising rhetoric of ‘choice’. Women’s Forum believes that a culture supportive of women and one that affirms life are not in opposition. Our focus is on social policy initiatives that offer women the freedom to be mothers, freedom to participate equally in the workforce and freedom from objectification, abuse and violence.
